An enchanting, brutal vampire myth and coming-of-age love story adapted from the bestselling Swedish novel and award-winning film.

Oskar is a bullied, lonely teenage boy, living with his mother on a housing estate at the edge of town, when a spate of sinister killings rock the neighborhood. Eli is the young girl who has just moved in next door. She doesn’t go to school and never leaves the flat by day. Sensing in each other a kindred spirit, the two become devoted friends. What Oskar doesn’t know is that Eli has been a teenager for a very long time.

BAFTA-winning dramatist and NYT alum Jack Thorne (Adolescence, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Enola Holmes) adapts John Ajvide Lindqvist’s original vampire novel and Tomas Alfredson’s iconic film for the stage. Directed by Olivier and UK Theatre Award winning Director James Dacre, in association with Marla Rubin Productions Ltd

Featuring 18 of Britain’s most talented young performers from the NYT REP Company, whose graduates include Gotham award-winner Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù, double Scottish BAFTA-winner Lauren Lyle (Karen Pirie) and Ian Charleson award-winner Francesca Amewudah-Rivers.
