I purchased tickets for my son and myself but I was sick and unable to use my ticket. My son really enjoyed La Boheme. The production was very good. Even in ‘cheap’ seats, he had a good view. I must get to my first opera one day!
Absolutely fantastic show. The singers were first class. Never disappointed with the National Opera.
Disappointing, the translation to English was dull and lacked real emotion.
Very poor. We thought the storyline was poor and couldn't believe that they sung about aching feet and shoes. Really disappointed and seriously think that a refund should be considered to costumers who did not enjoy it.
Having only recently started going to see the operas i found the acting out of rolls as good as the opera itself. I now always buy a program before the start as it gives me more insite and understanding of the opera itself
First time at the opera, hopefully won’t be the last. Very enjoyable
Great value. Great night!
Excellent opera to see particularly being an opera novice. I bought the cheapest tickets and we were in the very back row, we saw most things, but had to sit forward at some points to see what was happening at the front of the stage. This didn't deter from the excellent performance.
Wonderful!
Totally amazing, a wonderful afternoon!
We were disappointed that it was sung in English The English subtitles were very useful and would have been fine with the opera sung in Italian. We were in the dress circle and found the voices of most performers were not strong enough.
