Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s classic family musical is returning to the West End’s London Palladium this summer for a limited 10-week run! The BBC has announced a major series of shows across television and radio to honour musical theatre. Sheridan Smith (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat) will lead the event entitled Musicals: The Greatest Show, which will air on Sunday, 31 January on BBC Radio 2 from 7pm to 9pm and be followed by a subsequent broadcast in February on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. After being broadcast on television, the celebration will be available to stream on BBC iPlayer for one whole year.

The highly anticipated West End return of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the London Palladium has been postponed to summer 2021 due to coronavirus. The musical will now open exactly one year after its originally scheduled run on 1 July 2021.

Ticketholders who purchased tickets to Joseph through London Theatre Direct will be contacted by LTD on Monday, 22 June 2020 to be notified of their transferred tickets. Customers are asked to reach out to London Theatre Direct only if they need to change their dates.

With newcomer Jac Yarrow making a huge name for himself and quickly becoming a favourite amongst Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat fans, the question of whether he will return along with the production next year in summer 2020 is one that eagerly awaits confirmation.

Full casting has been announced for the upcoming revival of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the London Palladium. The musical, which stars Sheridan Smith, Jason Donovan, and Jac Yarrow, opens on 27 June 2019 and is booking until 7 September 2019.

Continuing the tradition of fostering new talent, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat have announced 21-year old drama student Jac Yarrow will star in the upcoming 2019 London Palladium production. The casting revelation follows previous announcements of veteran actors Jason Donovan and Sheridan Smith starring in the show.

Over recent weeks cast announcements for the reimagined production of the Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat have caused quite the stir.
